Not sure if I have gone on about Bruce Parry. He is an amazing presenter, adventurer and ambassador to the few tribes left in this shrinking world. His series Tribe is amazing. I am just beginning to watch Bruce's 6-part series called Amazon. He is traveling the entire Amazon river meeting, learning and sharing tribal life and culture along the way. A must see!

I've seen a few episodes of Tribe, and it is fascinating. The ones I saw, he was living with a tribe that was at war with a neighbouring tribe, and the guy was going and living with both tribes to learn the whole story. It was interesting since he was actually in serious danger trying to approach the "enemy" tribe, but they eventually welcomed him and told him their side of the story. It was all about control of resources - water, hunting grounds, etc.

I'll look into Amazon!
