Gents....my MoonTower Christmas wishes to both you and yours ! Hope you have a good couple of days and Santa visits you both before he empties his big sack...
(that came out all wrong. Merry Christmas ! Hope to talk to you both on Christmas day)
Merry Christmas from London-Town
Merry Christmas to the T-night Crew!
I am posting my Christmas greeting on the Moontower. Best wishes to you two and your families over the holidays. I seriously hope Santa brings you everything on your list instead of a big fat lump of bum coal. I am going to win either way because I asked Santa for a big ol' box of bum coal!
I am in Calgary now until the 28th. I will be back in T.O. on the 29th and then I will be doing some serious chillaxing! I will try to call you both before or on Christmas. I have my cell phone here and I am checking my email regularly if you want to share reflections, thoughts or general moments of silliness.
Take care,

Thicker Than Water Review
I watched Jack Johnson's new film DVD, Thicker Than Water last night. I was in awe at his work, Spetember Sessions. The music, the surf footage, the themes. Thicker Than Water had all of that, but doesn't quite stand up to Sessions. It is a great piece of media for $12.99 (at HMV), but if I could only buy one, I would stick with September Sessions. I bought a copy. If you are at all on the fence about buying this, wait and I you can take a look at my copy.
The disc has a couple of extras, the best is a series of sketchbook pages that are presented as a slideshow to Jack's music.
lates.
Boobah!
Here is a link to what I am calling "the most entertaining website of the year". This site is great for kids, but it is even better after a big bowl. Relax, explore, create, revert to your inner child, whatever gets you off! So, check this shit, yo.

IPOD
B...Not sure if Warren mentioned it, but I bought myself an early Christmas present last week. A 20GB IPOD. I love this thing. Any hesitation I had about interoperability with Windows is a distant memory. No problems at all.
I continue to exhaust my music collection and have maxed out about 9GB of music. I have turned to some friends to try and fill some more space, and now bost the entire collections of Bob Marley, Ben Harper, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and the Tragically Hip.
I had the IPOD at a party after our company Christmas party, and it really took on a life of its own. People were so intrigued by it, and were actually playing games with it...setting up a playlist on the fly so it would queue up songs that they wanted played. Incredible.
On another musical note, Warren, Ryan gave me a cd by someone called Pete Rock. The Cd is titled Petestrumental. Its amazing. Very similar sound to the Beastie Boys cd I found this summer. Very good. Highly recommended. I have it on my IPOD and will endeavour to get it to you guys.

Ancient Tapestry Found!
DUdes, this might not be good news for Ben Harper. Looks like a tapestry was found with words very similar to Ben Harper's, "Burn One Down". I will try and stay on top of this story.
On the Move
Warren, based on your post below, I think it is now safe for me to post this news...
I have been somewhat tentative to post this or mention it to you, as I thought it might be slightly premature, but based on what I have seen today, I can say as a proud proud father...Ethan can walk !!!
He has been taking steps here and there, and "cruising" along furniture and kind of leaning and falling towards furniture for about a month, but since the beginning of this week he has gotten really brave, realizing that he can use his arms for balance. Tonight he pretty much followed me on his own from the kitchen to the family room. It was so neat to see. You can tell he's as thrilled as I am. I took a video of it tonight, which hopefully I'll post in the next couple of days.
Thats it. Thats all.
Today
Today I woke up. Walked to work and bought and ate a coconut carrot muffin at the coffeeshop. I had a meeting to discuss progress of the edit of the opening sequence for a CBC movie of the week. I had a lunch meeting with a few employees of Pester Productions. I showed them Cuppa Coffee's demo reel and walked around while they were given a tour of our facilities. I discussed the flight path of a CG pterodactyl were are animating for the background of a Crayola commercial. I digitized scenes from the Star Wars Christmas special to edit together for a video wall we are projecting at the Cuppa Coffee Christmas party. The digitizing fucked up. I had to restart my computer, everything worked fine after that. I talked to my boss and a few co-workers about the BBC show, "The Office". I called Sarah and arranged to meet her outside the building where I work. I was late, but blamed it on the slow elevator. We walked home stopping at a coat shop and then the Hasty Market to buy some skim milk. When I got home I ate some chips, drank some Perrier and checked my email. None. I decided to write my fitness trainer an email about my missed assessment results. I did some online banking. I visited our blog. Nothing new.
