Oh man. I am SOO going to be rockin' out in March 2007 when this bad boy game comes to the XBox360!
I AM IRONMAN! Seriously, yo. I've played this (with my little guy) in the store on a PS2, and it was whack!
Enough smacktalk. Can't wait for this game to land - it is a "must have" for me!
Update: Sample tracks include:
- "Woman" - Wolfmother
- "War Pigs" - Black Sabbath
- "Sweet Child O' Mine" - Guns N' Roses
- "Killing in the Name" - Rage Against the Machine
- "You Really Got Me" - Van Halen
- "YYZ" - Rush
- "Free Bird" - Lynyrd Skynyrd
- "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" - Rick Derringer

Slip...uhhh...uhhh...this seems kinda geeky.
But I do have a question - can you download any song and play along?
Apparently they will be making other songs that you can download...
Do you really think it is geeky? Wood - have you tried this yet?
My comment of the "geekiness" of this product might of been flipant.
Is this a game? Do you use the guitar to kill monsters? Do you really get to decorate a minature guitar with stickers?
Are we into Dance Dance Revolution territory here?
I will reserve any further comment until I strap on that plastic stratacaster and try it for myself!
In the words of Woods - play on!
Strap on? Its not one of THOSE games.
Basically, the song plays, and you act as the lead guitarist, pressing those coloured buttons in concert with what is appearing on-screen. I don't think you get to kill anything. I guess you can liken it to DDR, but I would put it in a different category.
And yes, you can put the stickers on yer axe.
People should read this.
