How was Vegas?

I'll check with Sarah, but I don't think there will be any problem hosting a guys-weekend here. Should be fun. We have lots to catch up on!

Can't wait to hear and tell some stories...new careers, growing kids, trips to Vegas and Mexico, upcoming concerts, meeting Ben Harper!!!

I should be able to swing a night. Working through construction in the family room is taking up my weekends. Got the bookcases and cabinets up, but no face frames or doors yet. Have to box in the fireplace this weekend... which reminds me - gotta go make a phone call to find out fire hazard info!

This could be a done plan if we didn't all have to check with the better halfs! LOL!

I am sure it will come together. I am already plotting. BBQ on the roof. Cold beers on ice. It's looking pretty good so far...

Looks like I am good to go as well for the 3rd. Party on, Garth!

Dubs - have you heard of this butcher called, "Cambrae Meats"? Apparently, they have the most amazing cuts o' meat. They have a location in Dundas (near McMaster U) and one on Bayview. Do you want me to score us some fine pieces of meat?

I can feel the meat sweats already.

Ooops. Its "Cumbraes"... Came, cum, same difference, different verb tense.

I will announce that June 3 is now officially a guys night at my place.

MEEEEEEEET!

Slip, I think you have mentioned this butcher with the fine cuts before. It would be cool for you to pick up some meat. What kind of meat are you thinking?

Dudes,

Wow. QUite the build-up of excitement in such a short period of time! As for meat, I am completely open. I've never been there before, but I would guess they would have pretty much everything. Shall we stick to beef? If so, we could go with a tenderloin that we could slice up, or go with a few NY strips, or even split a 50oz. porterhouse?

Otherwise, we can go lamb or something else. I don't have as much experience there, but I have a good meat thermometer that I've started using more and more, and its never failed me.

Don't the cats get ground beef?

Slip, 3 steaks would be great. NY Strips, Ribeyes, Tenderloins, whatever looks good.

I'll make sure I have lots of propane for the BBQ!
