Tron - that was a formative movie for me. And I know everyone thinks "Big Lebowski" when you mention Jeff Bridges, but I think, "Tron". I even bought the video game. Not sure about the motorcycle helmets (the original costumes were awesome), but looks dang cool.
As for Alice, I think Tim Burton is the right choice for it. Will be interesting to see how far Disney will allow the boundaries to be pushed. Crispin Glover is a creepy dude. And Helen Bonham Carter in a Tim Burton movie? That's a first...
this will be the 5th Tim Burton film for Bonham Carter. They have been a couple since 2001.
And it has Johnny Depp - no surprise! But all in all I like the Burton/Depp/Bonham Carter combo. Together they have a certain character that makes Burton's films his own thing.
