Watched this flick last night not knowing it was a spin off from the Battlestar Galactica series. Picked it up because my main man Eric Stoltz is in it, but really enjoyed it but it will probably be even better for those BSG nerds among us - apparently it is a prequel to BSG and a series is in the works accocrding to the trailers on the DVD.

Yes...as a BSG-nerd, despite the fact the end of the actual series was definitely a pretty big let down, this was a GEM. Hope the series actually comes to fruition!
Was it frackin' good? K and I will likely immerse ourselves in BSG this summer. Want to start at the beginning...
